Cheesy Brazilian Bread Quick Delicious and Healthy! This is such a great recipe for those that have to stay away from gluten because of celiac’s disease, gut issues or just intolerance to wheat but love a good bread. These cheesy buns can be used for sandwiches or just as an addition to a meal like you would a regular bun. It’s a bread substitute that has a better texture and taste than many breads. This is delicious and keto or low-carb friendly and really does satisfy that craving for a delicious piece of bread. I like to make a bunch and either freeze them to last a really long time or just store them in the fridge for a week or more. I can’t wait for boat and beach trips because these will be an easy awesome addition to snacks and meals on the water. Try this recipe and let me know what you think in the comments!
Hello beautiful people thank you for joining me I have a recipe that I’ve been dying to share with y’all uh it is low carb it’s keto-ish um it’s way healthier than regular bread if you like bread but you’re kind of trying to stay away from
Gluten or if you have to stay away from gluten um I’ve always said it doesn’t bother me but I have a holistic practitioner that I’m seeing now that says that it does she says it bothers everybody so if I can be healthier I will and I did go years without eating
Bread but I just love it so sometimes I crave it and I am going to show you how to make these delicious uh Brazilian cheesy rolls and I like to make some big ones for like sandwiches or whatever and I like to make little ones just for a snack or you
Know if you’re putting it on the side of a meal or something like that so this is so easy you guys uh you just make sure you got your blender out um I have already pre-measured everything but this is tapioca powder which is tapioca flour also and AKA tapioca
Starch um two cups of that woo and that always happens so don’t worry you’re going to put all of these ingredients just put them all in the blender this is so easy uh this is half half a cup of uh grated mozzarella and half a cup of grated sharp cheddar
And I grate them myself because the if you buy it already grated they put this coating on it so that it doesn’t stick together and that coating is not good for you so if you can just buy the block of cheese and Grate them yourself it’s
So much better for you so then I’m going to pour those in there oh we did a little more tapioca powder flying around um so generally I use a cup of regular milk but we don’t have regular milk today this is buttermilk so I’m going to try this I think it’s going to
Be delicious anyway so just put that in there and then two large large eggs from our chickens outside wh all right and then a3d of a cup of oil I’m using avocado oil you want to use either avocado or olive oil in this um you really really
Want to stay away from the seed oils or like vegetable oil or peanut oil they’re not good for you they’re polyunsaturated fatty acids we call them pofa and they they disrupt mitochondrial function they disrupt your hormones they do all kinds of bad things to your body
So try and stay away from them stick with coconut avocado holic sunflower oil not regular sunflower oil and olive oil so those are all so much better for you um I have a half teaspoon of garlic powder put that in I don’t like really overpowering garlic flavors I do love
Garlic but this is kind of the perfect amount for this and I have a teaspoon of Himalayan pink salt put that in there all right so You’ got it all in there just want to mix it up until it’s just very smooth come on and I like to stop it every few 30
Seconds or so and scrape down the sides make sure it’s all getting Incorporated very smooth there’s nothing Stu on the sides or anything so all ready to go into oh so I took some spray avocado oil I make sure that I buy the 100% pure avocado oil because you
Can get mixtures and you don’t really know what they are so um I’ve already sprayed all of these pretty well and you just want to fill your cups about 2/3 of the way full because these are going to puff up and actually I’m going to sometimes I
Run out when I get to the bigger ones that’s a little more full than I wanted that’s okay I’ll fix it oops all these are a little more full than I wanted okay so take a little bit out of here put it over here perfect okay maybe not perfect but we’re getting
There all right just a little bit more in that one yeah I usually a little bit short that’s okay because you can double the recipe all right and I uh preheated my oven to 400° and I’m just going to stick these in here the smaller ones are going to come
Out sooner but generally 19 to 22 minutes um you just want them to start Brown on the top you don’t want them to get too Brown you don’t want to burn them so you got to watch them but I usually set my timer for about 15
Minutes and check and then go from there just a few minutes more a few minutes more but I’ll show you what they look like when they come out okay quiet hi all right so it has been 21 minutes and the little ones are are definitely ready see how beautiful they
Are now we’re just going to let them sit for a minute well actually I guess I could show you no I’m going to burn myself I’ll let them sit for a minute and then I’ll show you how they’re they’re just like crusty and on the outside and just like like chewy and
Delicious like really bready on the inside they’re just perfect for that bread craving so I think they should be cool enough but see how they puffed up and you can kind of smash them down they’re so light and Airy on the inside and chewy and cheesy and
Delicious and I know the cameraman is dying to have a [Laughter] bite oh so good perfect also I’m working on my famous blue cheese dressing that has no polyunsaturated fatty acids um and maybe I’ll show you how to do that next time thanks for watching be sure to subscribe
