Lets see what goes well with a mixed salad:

Raw chopped veggies (You can add greens like cucumber, lettuce, beans, spinach, fresh herb leaves. Add some tomatoes, peppadews, red, green or yellow bell pepper or zucchini)

Beans
Fruits
Cheeses

Here is how we did it:

Ingredients:
Diced tomatoes
sliced baby marrows
diced cheddar cheese
finely diced gherkin
washed and peeled diced apple
chopped fresh spinach leaves
wash, peeled and cut carrots in thin streaks
a few leaves fresh basil

method:

wash, peel and cut according to the above mentioned and add everything to a salad bowl.

toss the salad around to mix thoroughly.

Serving suggestions:
Serve as a side or main dish
cover with cling wrap or foil and refrigerate till when needed
Serve with a salad dressing or any sauce.
