Hi friends, today I am sharing with you Breakfast/dinner recipe for weight loss, it is high protein recipe. This recipe is moong dal idli. I made moong dal idli without rice, and for this recipe we don’t need to do fermentation also, it is instant idli recipe. In the single idli will get only 40 calories, 2.91 gm proteins. Very healthy and nutritious recipe also. It is a gluten free recipe, so those who have gluten sensitivity they can also add this recipe in their diet. This recipe is suitable for those also, who have pcos/pcod, thyroid, diabetes, and high cholesterol issues. Even we can give moong dal idli to kids also.

BMR (How many calories we need everyday) –
Moong dal idli
Serve-1
Ingredients
1-Moong dal-60 gm
2-Carrot-30 gm
3-Coriander leaves-5 gm
4-Chopped ginger-1/2 tsp
5-Cumin seeds-1/2 tsp
6-Red chili flakes- as per taste
7-Oregano seasoning- as per taste
8-Salt- as per taste
9-Eno- 1/4 th tsp
10-Oil- to grease the idli mold
Cooking process
1-Take 1/4 th cup moong dal, wash it 2-3 times and enough water and soak it for 2 hours.
2-Strain the water and add it in mixer grinder, make a fine paste.
3-Add this paste to bowl, then add 3 spoons grated carrot, chopped coriander leaves, chopped ginger, cumin seeds, salt, oregano, red chili flakes.
4-Mix well at least 2 min.
5-To steam the idli, grease the idli mold with little oil.
6-at last add 1/4 th eno to the batter and mix in one direction.
7-Now add this batter to idli mold.
8-Steam it for 15 min.
9-Our moong dal idli is ready to serve.
10-Serve hot with chutney.
