Simple Recipes for Anti Bloating + healing severe gut health issues

Quinoa Bowl
Mix together cooked quinoa, cucumbers, sweet potato, cherry tomatoes, cilantro or mint, with optional chickpeas and some pomegranate seeds. Top with a dressing of tahini, lemon, maple syrup, and water mixed till the right consistency is formed. Add any of your favorite protein on top!

Green Tea Chia Pudding
After boiling and straining green tea in 2 cups of coconut or almond milk. Cool and mix with 6 tablespoons of chia seeds, 1/2 tablespoon of maple syrup, optional 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and a pinch of sea salt. Option to add 1/2 cup oats for extra thickness.. Let sit over night and layer with fruit.

Mushroom Tacos
Saute portobello mushrooms with sweet/mild paprika, cumin, oregano, coriander and smoked paprika with coconut aminos. Char red peppers and optional corn on a skillet. Plate over corn tortillas with onion free guac and salsa. Option to add Spanish rice and beans.

Tom Kha Soup
Begin by sautéing ginger, and Low FODMAP veggies of choice. (such as carrots, peas, bok choy, zucchini, mushrooms, eggplant, cabbage, or bell peppers) then add 2 cans of coconut milk with 1.5 cups of water. Boil with Tom Kha and Red curry paste (I found mine at my local market and followed the serving size accordingly). Add salt +Simmer pepper to taste and simmer until everything is fully cooked. Top with a squeeze of lime and cilantro. Option to add chickpeas or any non irritating beans to this and eat with rice.

I can usually tell how well I’m doing mentally by how much poetry is pouring out of me which is to say how capable I am of being present with it all and making something of the moment lately my bravery has been sporadic because I’ve been dealing with a slew of gut health

Issues over the last few weeks I’ve been struggling with chronic nausea bloating heartburn breakouts and fatigue all of this has deeply affected my mental health but some basic things that have helped helped me regulate are eating at regular times sleeping consistently and well drinking copious amounts of water supplementing the vitamins I’m deficient

Well then check them out so today I’m meal prepping one of the easiest meals that I’ve been eating so regularly and this is actually what I’ll usually have for breakfast to break my fast and I like to have Savory protein Rich breakfast I know I talk about it all the

Time but I’m meal prepping it so I have have so much quinoa here and this is a little Mediterranean inspired quinoa Bowl so I’m just going to throw in all of my ingredients and this just digests really well it feels so neutral to my palette it doesn’t bloat me it doesn’t

About A4 of a cup and then lastly cantro my absolute favorite and I’m just going to mix all that up and that’s literally all that it takes the longest part of this process is just chopping everything I’m just gently combining everything and this would also be really amazing with

Some mint to help with digestion as well I added some salt and pepper and pro tip with the quinoa is to cook it in vegetable broth so it has even more flavor and I’m going to add a little bit of Tempe and make a bowl for myself so

This is what I’ve been having at least once a day and I’ll change up the additional protein that I add it’s mostly just a base but on its own it is really filling with the potato and the beans I actually made more Tempe than this but I already ate ate most of it

When I was prepping this video and then the last thing I’m going to do which makes this so delicious is I’m going to add some pomegranate seeds and this adds such a nice texture to the top a little bit of sweetness actually let me add my

Sauce first so I made a little tahini sauce with just tahini lemon and the tiniest bit of coconut aminos mix that all up with a little bit of water to get the right consistency and I’m just going to drizzle that on top and this is also

A good source of healthy fats add in the Pomegranates just tear them up these flavors go together so well I’m going to take some deep belly breaths and actually enjoy this because this is my breakfast today but yeah simple quinoa Bowl I changed my little bra cuz I didn’t like the way the other one looked

And it made me want to refilm that whole recipe but I’m not going to nitpick today um but this has been my favorite snack and not only does it look gorgeous but this gives me energy yeah it just hits the spot especially if I am craving something sweet I just soaked green tea

Leaves in coconut milk and basically made tea I added a little bit of maple syrup a little bit of salt and a tiny bit of vanilla extract I strained the tea leaves out and then soaked it overnight with Chia seeds and then I just layered it up with dragon fruit you

Can use whatever fruit that you like that doesn’t irritate your tumm or that’s low fod map and I pretty much just have one serving of fruit a day there is a really nice tartness or toasted flavor because of the green tea tea and I love that

Flavor but you can do this with chai tea or hicha tea matcha matcha overnight chia seed pudding like I don’t know that sounds kind of fancy you can also add oats you can mix oats and chia seeds overnight and it creates such a nice texture but I’m just trying to avoid

Oats as a whole right now so I actually don’t do any oat milk at all right now I’m only doing almond and coconut milk sometimes soy milk but yeah you can do this with any milk of your choice and M it’s just so good I have to be honest with you my

Ancestors would roll in their grave if they saw the tacos I’m about to make but they’re really good okay and just hear me out the two things that I’m missing are pretty vital but the store didn’t have any ripe avocados so I don’t have guac and I also couldn’t find any salsa

So I made my own really simple salsa that’s low fod map without any onions and it’s just literally cherry tomatoes Chopped with cilantro salt pepper a little bit of garlic powder and lime squeezed on top so that is my low fod map salsa let’s assemble these tacos I’m

Using corn tortillas all throughout the day I’ll just heat one up and Munch on it and I’ve been like that since I was little rice and tortillas I can just eat so many of them without anything on it just so Bland but the main meaty part of

This is these mushrooms and I just saute these with some coconut aminos and a low fod map little taco seasoning which I’ll have the ingredients of on the screen but these are so good these are shitake mushrooms but you can also do this with tofu crumbles you can do it with Len

Holes and then um bake them in the oven after to get them all crumbly but I really like mushrooms because they do come out slightly meaty and I do really like using coconut aminos because it adds a nice sweetness to balance out the spice of the paprika and the cumin and

The other to flavors I forgot corn I’m not eating rice so you could you could just do so much more okay I am a little embarrassed but this is genuinely what I eat um so I’m sharing it with you my little tomato is on top and I put so much lime in here

I’m just going to pour the lime into each little taco I’m going to use my tahini sauce once again just to get some cream I need some cream in there and this is quite neutral just because it’s lemon and Tahini so it’s really simple I love tacos I love taco bowls Taco Nights

Better and better every single day that it sits in the fridge it is so flavorful and I love just putting low FODMAP vegetables in here and I do like to eat at least one meal a day outside so I’m going to see if it’s not too

Windy if I can walk to the park and just eat this there semi and those are the meager recipes that I’ve been making for myself lately I know these might not be super creative or out of the box but they’ve just been helping to nourish my body

Without making me feel unwell but I will say that the main thing that can help you if you have any gut health issues or struggle with bloating which so many people do is finding the root cause for you and figuring out what foods are triggering it what times of the month

You might be feeling bloated or even getting something like breath work or getting something like blood work done or doing different testing because a low FODMAP diet might not be the solution for you I mean there are just so many reasons why you could be having some
