The PERFECT #protein #frenchtoast for #mealprep

I’ve tried at least 10 different protein French Toast recipes and none of them have been “It”. They’ve either been too sticky, thick, or just plain weird texture-wise. I hope you’ll give this recipe a try and let me know what you think!

Meal Prep Protein French Toast
Makes 5 Servings
Serving Size: 3 slices

15 Slices Sara Lee Delightful Bread
1.75c Egg Whites
1.25c 2% Fairlife Milk
2.5 Scoops Vanilla Protein (I used Flex which was 75g)
1/4tsp salt
1/4tsp ground cinnamon

1. Add egg whites, milk, protein powder, salt, and cinnamon to a bowl (or blender cup) and mix until smooth. (I used an immersion blender)
2. Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, flipping several times until saturated, and add to a lightly greased non-stick pan or griddle.
3. Ladle some of the egg mixture over the bread slices while cooking on the first side until saturated.
4. Cook on both sides until golden brown and cool on a cooling rack.
5. Reheat in the microwave for 30 seconds per side. (Optionally allow to crisp slightly in a non-stick skillet on high heat for a few seconds.
